Before the evening.
By joining a Curated Connections evening, you acknowledge and agree to the following.
1. Voluntary participation
You are voluntarily participating to meet and socialize with other adults. Curated Connections, its organizers, volunteers, representatives, and the venue make no guarantee regarding matches, compatibility, relationships, or any particular outcome.
2. Personal responsibility
Meeting new people involves inherent risks. You accept responsibility for your own decisions, interactions, personal property, transportation, alcohol consumption, and actions before, during, and after the event. Curated Connections may review participant information when selecting attendees but does not conduct comprehensive background investigations or guarantee the accuracy of information participants provide. Use your own judgment about anyone you meet and whether to communicate with or meet them afterward.
3. Release of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless Curated Connections, its organizers, volunteers, representatives, and the event venue from claims, damages, losses, injuries, or expenses arising from your participation or from interactions with another participant, except where prohibited by law.
4. Conduct
Treat all participants and staff respectfully. Harassment, threatening behavior, unwanted physical contact, excessive intoxication, disruptive conduct, or behavior that makes another participant feel unsafe may result in immediate removal without a refund. Participation, or mutual interest, does not constitute consent to physical contact, continued communication, or any future interaction.
5. Matching and contact information
Your contact information is shared only when both participants indicate yes. By indicating yes, you authorize Curated Connections to share your designated contact information with that participant if the interest is mutual. A match does not create any obligation to communicate, meet, or pursue a relationship.
6. Privacy
Do not photograph, record, publish, or share another participant’s personal information without permission. Curated Connections is not responsible for information you voluntarily share with another participant.
7. Photography and media
Photo permission is optional and separate from participation. You choose in your application, and again on the signed release at check-in, whether Curated Connections may use photos or recordings of you for promotional purposes, including social media and future event marketing.
8. Nature of the event
Curated Connections facilitates social introductions only. Dating tips, coaching, suggestions, or guidance are general in nature and are not legal, medical, psychological, or other professional advice. Curated Connections is not responsible for relationships, communications, disagreements, conduct, or events between participants after an introduction is made.
9. Acknowledgment
By accepting an invitation you confirm that you are at least 18, are participating voluntarily, provided truthful information, have read and understand this agreement, are responsible for evaluating the people you meet, and will follow the event’s rules and instructions. You can sign it online from your private space before the evening, with an optional emergency contact; otherwise a printed copy is signed at check-in.
