The conversations
Four minutes with each person. Five rounds, a ten-minute intermission, five more, a short break, then the rest.
Yes or no, privately
After each conversation, a quick thumbs up or down on your phone. A match only happens when you both say yes.
There are plenty of really good single people out there. They just aren’t necessarily finding each other. I chose speed dating because it gets people off their phones and face to face, where you can feel warmth, humor, and confidence that no profile can show. My job is to curate the room, not to sell tickets.

How does Curated Connections work?
Curated Connections hosts small, invitation-only speed dating evenings for singles in Madison, Mississippi and the Jackson area. You apply with a short questionnaire, which helps your host get to know you, build a balanced group, and make sure everyone is sincere about meeting someone. Guests are chosen about a week before each evening and receive an email invitation with the details and a payment link.
What happens at a speed dating evening?
You arrive at 7:00 PM, check in, sign a short release, and can get a drink at the cash bar. After a welcome and a few tips, a host guides the room through about fifteen four-minute conversations, one person at a time, with short breaks. The evening wraps up around 9:00 PM.
How are matches made?
After each conversation you privately choose yes or no, on your phone or on a printed sheet. A match happens only when you both say yes. Contact details are shared only between mutual matches, and a one-sided choice is never shown to the other person.
How much does it cost?
Applying is free. Each evening’s price is listed with it on the Upcoming evenings page, and you pay only after you’re invited. Dating coaching and private matchmaking are priced separately. See upcoming evenings
Where are the evenings held?
At welcoming local venues around Madison and Ridgeland, in the Jackson metro. Because every evening is by invitation, the exact venue is shared once your seat is confirmed. Each evening’s date, time, and general area are on the Upcoming evenings page.
Who can apply?
Single adults 18 and older who sincerely hope to meet someone, from Madison, Ridgeland, Jackson, Flowood, Brandon, Clinton, and nearby. Every application is reviewed so each evening’s group is balanced. Apply for an evening
Is my information kept private?
Your answers are kept private and are seen only by the Curated Connections team. Other guests see only what the evening needs, with your photo to recall who they met, and contact details go only to mutual matches. Read who sees what
Do you offer dating coaching or matchmaking?
Yes. Your host, a counselor by training, offers one-on-one dating coaching and private matchmaking for singles who want a more personal approach, from a single strategy session to a six-month search. Coaching and matchmaking
